If your heading out tonight to watch the fireworks have a wonderful time!
A few little tips if you’re heading to an organised event:
I have 3 little ones and panic at the thought of loosing them, especially when it’s dark and very busy.
So I always make sure I take a picture of them at the start of the night so I remember what they’re wearing.
Tonight they will have torches on them.
I put a piece of paper in their coat pockets with mine and my husbands phone numbers on should we become separated.
At the start of the night we point out to them the organisers as they are usually in coloured jackets.
We assign each child to one of us.
We have taught our children their full names should they need to tell someone.
With older children you can arrange a safety place should you become lost. This should be a key landmark, possibly at the entrance.
Try and stay calm and follow your families plan.
Enjoy the fireworks!
